Our Method

Whether you’re starting a new language from scratch or trying to pick up where you left off previously, all of our language lessons are customized to each student’s needs and goals in order to help provide the best environment for success. Together we can form a plan of what will benefit you the most!
We offer customized programs and lessons for all ages as well as online small group classes. We offer language opportunities for new language learners – from beginner to advanced, tutoring for current language classes, programs for heritage speakers, and business/professional language training.
Our tailored lessons allow you to learn at your own pace and give you opportunities to put everything you’re learning quickly into use.

Why Pay for traditional lessons when I can just use a Free App instead?

It’s 2020. With all of the free language apps, a lot of people are asking this question.

Why should you spend more time and money doing something you could just do on your phone on your own terms, often for free?

At Lauren’s Language Lessons, we think many of today’s language learning apps and services are wonderful. In fact, we often recommend them to our students as additional resources.
But ultimately, we believe that if you truly want to excel when it comes to language, nothing can truly take the place of face to face live interaction. While language learning apps are excellent tools, learning and practicing face to face with an expert tutor or teacher can help you improve much more quickly, more efficiently, and more enjoyably.
We also find that exploring language with a tutor rather than an app can help give you a needed bump of encouragement that can keep you going when learning gets tough or language gets complicated or life gets busy.
