Registered students can join as many or as few sessions as they wish, depending on their schedule, goals, and needs. View our schedule below!

about the instructor

Hello! I’m Min, a native Korean teacher. I have a BA in English Literature and studied Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language in grad school. I have also successfully completed the CELTA (Certificated in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program to hone my teaching skills.

I have been teaching Korean for over 10 years and have taught in South Korea, Mexico, and now the US. My students have come from all walks of life, including 5 year-old preschoolers to college students, corporate executives, Korean heritages students, and many more!

I believe that my biggest strength as a teacher comes from the fact that I’ve been a language learner myself for years. By so much trial and error, I am fluent in English and have good knowledge of Spanish, French, and Japanese. I have also dabbled in a handful of languages, including Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Chinese. Currently, I am learning American Sign Language. While learning and teaching, I continue to test out my methods and am not afraid to experiment with different approaches. More importantly, I completely understand my students’ excitement and frustration that comes with learning a new language.

Aside from language learning, I find pleasure in drinking hot coffee and listening to fireplace audio, pretending it’s winter all year round, while watching Christmas movies.
